AK Mukherjee takes over charge of executive director NTPC Rihand

Bijpur: AK Mukherjee on Thursday took over the charge of executive director of Rihand Super Thermal Power Project. Mukherjee is known for setting up new dimensions of success in the Rihand project by his dynamic leadership while holding the post of Chief General Manager in the Rihand project.

Mukherjee successfully took NTPC Rihand to its new heights with his dedication and integrity as it was during his leadership that the NTPC Rihand's Unit V operation continued for over 385 days without any halt. Also, it stood at first position in all NTPC projects in PEM ranking, while it witnessed zero

fatal accidents in 2018 and awarded for highest production and productivity.

Mukherjee has done a number of works for the development of the surrounding area through CSR along with the Rihand project as during his tenure, the Rihand Township was also well developed and looked after.
