The victim was a class 12 student of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidhyalaya in central Delhi’s Pusa Road.
After being molested by the accused on Monday, she had filed a case of molestation accusing him as the culprit.
After Delhi Police arrested Subhash, victim’s neighbour, accused’s family members continued to harass her and pressurise her to withdraw the case. The girl then committed suicide on Thursday.
A suicide note was also found from her possession in which she had named Subhash Yadav, his father Ram Kishore Yadav and friend Anil for mentally harassing her.
Her suicide note further claims that Subhash and Anil used to regularly harass her when she went to school. Subhash wanted to marry her and often followed her.
On Tuesday, the girl had even filed a molestation case against Subhash. It was alleged that Subhash molested her in her house on Monday.
When she turned down his marriage proposal, he allegedly tried to strangle her with the cord of her mobile phone. Subhash was arrested and sent to Tihar Jail on Tuesday.
