Nadeem Tarin Hall celebrates its annual function

The annual hall function of Nadeem Tarin Hall, a residential hall of the Aligarh Muslim University, was held on Tuesday evening.
Addressing this occasion, chief guest, AMU Pro-Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali urged the students to work hard to achieve their objective of life and prove their worth for the overall betterment of the country. He said that students should stick to their routine and give their best to studies for maximum output and better career opportunities.
Prof Anis Ismail, DSW graced the function as the guest of honour. Former Provosts, Dr Arif H Rizvi and Prof Masood Hasan were also present on the occasion.
Prof Amjad Masood, Provost presented annual report of the Hall and highlighted achievements of the resident members. He also mentioned the development activities undertaken by the University and Hall administration including the constructed work and modern facilities at the dining hall. He also thanked the University administration for providing steam – cooking plant, bain marie and chapati making machine for quality mess services for the students.
Earlier, Md FaisalNehal, senior hall welcomed the guests. Md Qamar Nawaz, senior food proposed a vote of thanks.
The chief guest and guestof honour gave away prizes and certificates to the winners and participants of Open University Sports events ‘Uqaab’ and cultural festival ‘Farozaan’.
