Murli Manohar Joshi undergoes knee transplant

Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Murli Manohar Joshi underwent a knee transplant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, said a statement issued by the hospital on Sunday. The release stated that the senior BJP leader was admitted to the hospital early this week and had undergone the transplant on Wednesday.

“The leader is recovering well and his vital parameters are normal,” said the statement issued by the orthopaedic department of the premier heath institute.
