In a gruesome murder case, a 23-year-old girl, who was tired of her father’s repeated sexual assaults, brutally killed him with the help of her boyfriends. She tore open her father’s chest and removed the pacemaker to ensure his death.
The incident was reported to police on Wednesday, when an unidentified body was found near Keshopur depot in west Delhi’s Khyala area. The body was identified as Daljeet Singh (55), a resident of Rajouri Garden who was working as a driver in New India Travels at Rajender Place.
During the course of the investigation, it was learnt that he was living with his youngest daughter, Kulvinder Kaur. Two other daughters are married and live separately. His wife had died three years ago. Kulvinder told the police that her father used to assault her sexually and whenever she used to oppose it, he used to beat her up. She was also in friendship with two boys identified as Prince Sandhu (22) and Ashok Sharma (23). Sandhu has expertise in tattooing and is running a salon in Geeta Colony. Sharma is a house-keeper in a prestigious show room at West Gate Mall in Rajouri Garden.
On Wednesday night, when her father was asleep they executed the plan. As per the plan, in the late night, Kaur opened the bolt of the door of the house to help the duo enter. With the help of Kaur, they overpowered Singh while he was sleeping. They also attacked him with a wicket that was recovered by the police. The daughter confessed that she tore open her father’s chest to remove the pacemaker from his heart.
After ensuring his death, they tied his legs and neck with the help of cable wire. The two guys drove down and dumped the body, while she stayed at home to clean the blood stains and to hide the weapons used in the act. ‘Two days after the incident, the body was identified and the case was solved. Till Sunday, all the accused were arrested one by one.
‘They have been booked under the Sections 302 (murder), 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code,’ Ranvir Singh additional commissioner of police said.
