Teaching a lesson or two of discipline to workers, Samajwadi Party cheif Mulayam Singh Yadav said that the party could sweep next Lok Sabha elections if the workers work like a well-oiled machine and spread the message of good work being carried out by the government among the masses at village level.
Addressing workers at the party office here Yadav said that the workers should go to the kshetra (field) and tell masses about pro-people policies launched by the state government. People should know the government they had voted in is actually working in their favour, Yadav said.
‘But before that the workers should be a disciplined lot. They should abide by the directives of the party and should not take law in their hands,’ he said, addeding, ‘Remember only that force or party succeeds in battle of ballots whose workers are a disciplined. Our’s is a party that believes in discipline and wants that everyone should work within the parametres of law.’
Yadav said that next Lok Sabha elections are very crucial because people have made up their mind to reject UPA and NDA. Thus, now all eyes will be on the Third Front.
‘In this scenario it is important that we should be alert and avoid poaching in our vote bank by other parties. If we remain united no one will be able to stop Samajwadi Party from getting over 60 seats in the Lok Sabha elections,’ the SP cheif said.
Talking about the achievements of the Akhilesh Yadav government the Yadav Sr said that government has so far waived off loans of Rs 50,000 of farmers, provided free water for irrigation, launched Kanya Vidyadhan project and provided unemployment allowance to jobless youth,’ he said.
