It was a cloudy yet muggy day in the capital on Thursday with the maximum temperature settling a notch below average at 32.9 degrees Celsius.The Met office has forecast similar weather conditions on Friday.
The minimum temperature recorded on Thursday morning was 24.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, while the humidity levels wavered between a high of 95 and a low of 57 per cent.
‘The skies will be partly cloudy which would turn clear later in the day. Sultry weather conditions would continue,’ said an official.
