MP minister caught kicking boy at function; video goes viral

An MP minister was on Sunday caught on camera purportedly kicking a 14-year-old boy as he bowed to touch her feet at a function. TV channels aired footage of Animal Husbandry Minister Kusum Mahdele purportedly kicking the boy with a video clip of the incident also having gone viral on social media.

In the video, Mahdele, a senior member in the state Cabinet, is seen kicking the boy as he bows to touch her feet at a function organised to celebrate MP Foundation Day near the bus stand. A journalist who was present on the occasion said after the incident that they were unable to find the boy to ascertain what had occurred.

Also, the minister could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.
