Motherhood has made me grow as an actress: Konkona

The National Award winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma was on a break for sometime. She was last seen on the big screen in a brief role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf and Omkara.
Konkona makes a come back with Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor’s next, Ek Thi Daayan, which is a horror film. Konkana gave birth to a baby boy last year. She believes that motherhood has changed her completely and helped her grow as an actress. ‘I am very excited to come back after such a long time and to come back with such an an interesting offer makes me happy. This is the first time I am doing a horror film and collaborating with some great people like Vishal, Ekta, Huma Qureshi,’ said Konkona.
‘Motherhood has indded helped me grow as an actress. Since I am doing a horror film for the first time I do get little scared at times. During my childhood, we were told not to talk about ghosts or evil spirits at night,’ added the actress.
Ek Thi Daayan is being produced by Balaji Telefilms and directed by Kannan Iyer.
The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.
