Mother, 2 kids found dead with throats slit

A woman and her two children were found murdered at their Uttam Nagar residence on Monday night.

The slain woman, identified as Deepa (34), is said to be the wife of an excise Inspector. Her husband found her lying in a pool of blood in their <g data-gr-id="25">bedroom,</g> after he reached home from <g data-gr-id="24">office</g>. His two children — Saksham (9) and <g data-gr-id="31">Shaily</g> (2) were found in the same condition in the bathroom.

He immediately informed the police. According to police sources, the throats of Deepa, Saksham and <g data-gr-id="22">Shaily</g> were slit with some sharp object that resulted in their death. 

The police are suspecting a personal enmity which resulted in the gruesome murder as no expensive belongings were reportedly stolen from the house.

A case under the relevant sections of the IPC has been registered at Uttam Nagar police station. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the call details of the couple are being examined by the police in order to get possible leads. The police are said to be investigating the incident. However, no arrests have been made yet.
