More complaints of sexual harassment lodged against Blue Bells teacher

On Wednesday, two more complaints were added to the FIR against an English teacher of Blue Bells International School in Greater Kailash area, for molesting female students. He taught English to students from Class V to Class XI since 2005.
On Tuesday, Nirmal Tamang (32) was arrested after a complaint was lodged by the principal of the school. Tamang has been sent to 14-day judicial custody after being produced before a local court. Tamang has been booked under 354 (assault), 342 (illegal confinement) of the Indian Penal Code and various other sections of POCSO Act.
The incident came to light on Monday when Tamang locked a 10-year-old girl in the staff room of the school and molested her. Fellow students came to help her and rescued her after they heard the victim’s screams.
‘There are around 20 students who became the victim of the sexual intentions of their teacher, but they have not given a formal complaint against him. an official at G.K Part-I police station said.
