Moments arrested in time

Officially, a day before the chromatic festival, New Delhi based photographer Gaurav Singh is feisty this Holi with his vibrant manifestations. Arrested Moments, an exhibition of his photographs was inaugurated by Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister of Haryana at Lalit Kala Academy.

A collection of photographs portraying abstract human emotions, from the demon inside to the serenity, through Gaurav's iris transpires to be, painted brush strokes. The photographs talk a hazy visual language but iridescent emotions and in deed a feast for a photography lover.

After lighting the lamp with Deepender Singh Hooda, Member of Parliament and Gaurav Singh, Bhupinder Singh Hooda released the catalogue of the photographs and accoladed the photography as dedicated and unique. Deepender Singh expressed his sincere wishes to Gaurav Singh to achieve more feats in photography.

Gaurav Singh, who says photography as his raison d'etre says, ‘Human emotions and Nature are my inspirations.’ In his words his work is an amalgam of some of the most creative moments of his experiential spectrum and a reflection of his individual psyche.

On 28 March Maha Mandaleshwar Pujya Shri Kailashanad Ji Maharaj, Dakshin Kali Mandir, Haridwar will bless the event with his presence.The exhibition is on from 26 March to 2 April at the Lalit Kala Akademy.
