Modi’s comments on Dikshit valid: BJP

The political slugfest between BJP and Congress following Narendra Modi’s attack on chief minister Sheila Dikshit intensified with the opposition party on Tuesday accusing her of making ‘baseless’ remarks against its prime ministerial candidate.

‘The point raised by Modi in his speech that the Delhi CM remains busy only cutting ribbons is quite valid.

‘There are a whole lot of projects where ribbons were cut and a lot of hype was created, but hardly any progress was made,’ said Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel.

Presenting a list of incomplete projects, Goel also challenged Dikshit to a debate on the issue even as it hit out at her for attacking Modi.

‘I am challenging Dikshit to a debate on the issue. Several projects in the health, transport and in almost every sector were inaugurated, but they were either scrapped halfway or continue to drag till now,’ he said.
