Modi to meet party leaders as Advani meets RSS chief

Much political activity will be seen within  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, as Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in the capital after his elevation as the chairman of the election campaign committee. The Gujarat chief minister is expected to hold meeting with deputy chairperson of Planning Commission and later he will be meeting with the general secretaries of the party.

Also, on Tuesday Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghachalak, Mohan Bhagwat will be meeting veteran party leader L K Advani. The meeting assumes significance as Advani had resigned last week, over the elevation of Narendra Modi, the veteran leader took back his resignation only after Bhagwat had a telephonic conversation with Advani.  The meeting is expected to discuss the role of RSS in the handling of the party affairs, which Advani had reservations in the past also the role of RSS joint general secretary Suresh Soni is also expected to come for discussion.

However, there has been no confirmation on whether Modi will be meeting Advani or not.
