Asserting that India is re-surging under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, BJP leader Ram Madhav has said the new government consists of young ministers who are working hard, bringing a qualitative change in the work culture.
In his maiden address to the Indian Diaspora in New Jersey, Madhav said that India is ‘re-surging under the dynamic leadership of Modi.’ ‘His government consists of young ministers who are working hard and brought a qualitative change in the work culture,’ he said in his remarks over the weekend.
The Bureaucracy is responding and the files are being dusted-off and cleared fast, he said according to a media statement issued by the Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) yesterday.
He said that the recently concluded parliamentary elections were historic not only because the mandate for Modi was huge, but also because Congress was reduced to such a level that it could not fulfill the constitutional rules to attain opposition party status.
While the Congress party got zero seats in 12 states and 5 union territories, the BJP has representation from every state except Kerala.
‘Thus, BJP became a pan Indian national party,’ Madhav said.
Describing Modi as one of the most popular leaders in the world, he said leaders of SAARC nations were invited to his swearing-in ceremony and Modi visited Bhutan and Nepal sending a message of according high priority to the neighbouring countries.
‘The reception he received from public in Bhutan and Nepal speaks of his popularity beyond India’s borders,’ he said.
