Model rape case: PE points to professional lapses by Paraskar

In more trouble for suspended DIG Sunil Paraskar, accused of molestation and rape by a city-based model in the west Indian state of Maharashtra, a preliminary enquiry (PE) by the Mumbai police found professional lapses on his part while dealing with the victim before she filed police complaint in the case.
The PE was conducted by Joint Police Commissioner (Admin) Vivek Phansalkar, who submitted the report to Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria.
