The body of a man who went missing on 15 July was found on Monday chopped into two parts and stuffed in separate bags in the Mukundpur area of North West Delhi. The accused have been arrested.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Kishore Kumar. According to the police, the murder was committed by Vijaynder (46) and Bharat (19). The accused reportedly worked in a small factory owned by Kumar’s father. They were fired two years back.
The incident is believed to be a fallout of their sacking. ‘Though the duo had planned to kidnap the victim and demand money but later they changed their plan as they were afraid that they will be caught by the police,’ an officer said.
‘While probing the case we got to know that the victim was last seen with the two accused which made us suspicious. The accused have accepted their crime,’ said a police officer.
