Missing 7-year-old’s body found at an isolated spot in Anand Vihar area

The boy has been identified as that of Prince. Preliminary police investigation suggests that the boy was strangled. Meanwhile, police are probing the role of a tantrik behind the murder. According to the police, Prince was playing near his house in Kirari area of Aman Vihar. 

At around 6 pm, his mother went to call him inside but he was not there. Anxious, family and neighbours started to search frantically for the boy.Relatives alleged that they searched everywhere and even went to the empty plot but could not find him. 

They then reported the matter to the police. Cops said that one of the neighbours informed the family that Prince’s body has been found at an empty plot of land. The body was wrapped in a saree and his hands and legs were tied with a rope and there were strangulation marks on his body. 

Police was informed after which the body of the minor boy was taken for post-mortem. Preliminary investigation suggests that the boy was strangulated. A case under appropriate sections of the IPC has been registered.
