Minor slum dweller sexually assaulted in Nihal Vihar area

In yet another case of crime against women in the national capital, an incidence of sexual assault on a minor was reported from the Nihal Vihar area. Cops have arrested the accused.
Both the victim, who is 12-years-old, and the accused are residents of the slums in the Nihal Vihar area. The victim’s parents are daily wage-earners. The accused Ram Kishan, 28, has been arrested.
The victim was sent for a medical examination, that confirmed sexual assault, not amounting to rape. Further investigation is on, said a police official
