Minor girl raped for months by classmate, 3 friends

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly repeatedly raped by her classmate and three of his friends for months in Shalimar Bagh, police said on Thursday.
The girl’s classmate, who is a juvenile and another accused identified as Alok Srivastava were arrested on Wednesday, while efforts are on to nab the other two accused in the case who are absconding.
‘The girl, a student of Class XI of a school in Shalimar Bagh was first raped by her classmate in March. He then blackmailed her into having sexual relations with his friends by threatening to reveal about the incident to others,’ said a police official.
After months of abuse, the girl finally gathered courage and revealed the incident to her family who later approached police.
The police then registered a case under POCS and other relevant sections and arrested her classmate and Alok.
