Minor girl raped by father for 2 months

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly repeatedly raped by her father for nearly two months in the Tilpat area of the district, police said on Thursday. Accused Rajesh was arrested yesterday and was on Thursday presented before a court which sent him to judicial custody, a police spokesman said.
A case in this regard was registered yesterday with the Sarai Kwaja police on the complaint of the girl’s mother, the spokesman said. In the complaint, the mother has alleged that when she returned from work Wednesday evening, her minor daughter told her that Rajesh had been raping her for two months. Rajesh would allegedly rape the girl in the daytime when her mother would be in office, the spokesman said. The woman claimed when she spoke to Rajesh about it, he beat her up, after which she approached the police.
