Minor fire at a shop in Citywalk, no casualties

A minor fire broke out in a shop at a mall in south Delhi here this afternoon which was doused within minutes. The incident took place around 2 pm at Select Citywalk mall located in Saket area of South Delhi following which people were evacuated as per the fire drill.
“It was a minor fire which was reported at a shop. The emergency mechanism was activated and our fire safety managers doused the flames. It took just five minutes to control the situation and everything is normal now,” said a representative of the mall.
Fire and police department were not informed about the incident. Thick smoke was seen billowing out of a duct in amateur videos shot by people at the mall.
