Mini UP Bhavan to soon come up in Noida

The Noida Authority has finally decided the land for setting up mini UP Bhavan and has earmarked an area in Sector 93 A along Noida Expressway. According to a Noida Authority official, a report of the project has been prepared and sent to the state government in Lucknow for approval. Once, it gets the nod, the authority will start preparing the detailed project report (DPR).
The UP government had directed the authority to locate a land for mini UP Bhavan as the UP Bhavan in Delhi was not sufficient to accommodate the state officials, ministers and other visitors. Top state officials keep visting the two western UP cities, Noida and Ghaziabad, but at times they fail to get accommodation. Looking at the urgent need, the government had planned to build it at Sector 14A three years ago. But the plan was never executed.
According to sources, the Noida Authority is also thinking over shifting its old block administration and building an iconic building in Sector 96A.
