Metro movement to be regulated at two stations today

The Delhi metro train movement on the Yellow Line (Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre), will be regulated briefly on Wednesday at two stations — Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan, due to security reasons.

‘As advised by Delhi Police, train movement at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan will be briefly regulated on 2 October. This is owing to securing arrangements made due to the presence of the Prime Minister and other VVIPs in the vicinity of these stations for the launch of nationwide cleanliness campaign at around 9 am,’ said Anuj Dayal, DMRC’s executive director.

Commuters will be allowed to exit from these two stations between 7.15 am and 7.45 am and no entry of passengers will be allowed during these timings.

No entry/exit of passengers will be allowed at these two stations from 7.45 am to 10.05 am as trains will not stop at these two stations during this period, Dayal said.
