Mercury settles at 410C in city

It was a hot day in the national Capital on Thursday as the maximum temperature crossed the 40 degree mark to settle at 41 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average, said a Met Department official. The humidity level oscillated between 78 and 31 per cent. 

The weatherman has forecast possibility of a thunderstorm and dust storm overnight and Friday morning.  According to the Met office, thunderstorm and dust storm is likely to occur tomorrow towards the night and Saturday morning.
