Meja Urja Nigam takes Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to new high

Meja Urja Nigam has launched a massive cleanliness campaign in its all work centres under the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the largest sanitation initiative, taken up by the Union Government. CEO Prabhat Kumar, MUNPL kicked off the mission at Meja Thermal Power Project. Kumar paid floral tribute to the Bapuji Mahatma Gandhi before administering the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ pledge to all the employees.

While exhorting the employees to participate in the mission wholeheartedly, Kumar said clean citizen is a good citizen. “External cleanliness is not sufficient. One should be clean from within,” he added. Under the mission, MUNPL has plans to take up various initiatives MUNPL CEO has launched this novel initiative. 

In order to create awareness MUNPL in its plant premises is organising various programmes including Walkathons, Essay writing, Extempore etc to highlight the importance of cleanliness towards improving overall health and environment.
