Medical test confirms 3-yr-old sexually assaulted

Medical examination has confirmed that the three-year-old minor was sexually assaulted in Shem Rock Vatika Public School on Thursday when she was in school. Police have arrested the security guard of the school identified as Jhabbu (35) of Sultanpur, who has confessed to the crime, under Section of 9/10 POSCO Act.

However, the school administration has been denying of any incident within their school premises. “We have formed an enquiry committee to investigate into the matter but prima facie, this incident has not happened within our premises,” said Shashi Sharma, principal, Sham Rock Vatika School.   

However, the Noida police had asked for a medical examination to look further into the case. The victim went under medical examination late in the evening. The District Magistrate had appointed a panel of two female doctors for medical examination. On Sunday, Noida Police confirmed that the victim was sexually assaulted.

Deputy Superintendent of the Police (Dy SP), Anoop Singh said: “During investigation, it was found that the victim, who had told her parents about the place of the incident, was only accessible by the security guard. The accused’s character is reported badly. Further investigation is on.”
