MCGM to meet officials to discuss format of fresh DP

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) will hold a meeting with senior Maharashtra government officials this week to discuss <g data-gr-id="9">on </g>the format of the fresh draft of the Development Plan (DP) 2034, a senior civic body official said.
The Devendra Fadnavis government had scrapped the Development Plan in April this year after activists, political parties, heritage lovers and eminent personalities opposed the plan citing perils that it could have shrunk city’s open spaces, resulting in congestion.
