Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday accused the BJP government at Centre and states of not following "raj dharma" and asked the allies of the saffron party especially in Punjab and J&K, to reconsider their alliance.
"The BJP governments in the states and centre are not following the raj dharma with regard to acting in the interest of the poor and needy and so its alliance partners, specially Akali Dal and PDP, should give a rethought to their ties with the BJP as the people of the country have now started feeling this way", Mayawati said.
The former UP Chief Minister said: "It is clear that BJP's allies are also worried because of its working style but are following the dharma of alliance politics. But they need to do something in the interest of people and country and assert some control else the <g data-gr-id="10">narrow minded</g> BJP will continue to harm countrymen."
