Maximum temp settles at 36.7° C, rain likely today

Delhiites enjoyed a pleasant Sunday as light rain lashed some areas of the national Capital. The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average. According to the MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degree Celsius, one notch above normal, while humidity level oscillated between 78 and 61 per cent.

The sky remained partly cloudy throughout the day. Some areas of North Delhi witnessed light showers. Waterlogging has been reported from many areas of the city.

The MeT department has predicted light rain on Monday. “There will be generally cloudy sky tomorrow, which may lead to light rain in some parts of the national Capital,” the official said. 

He added that the maximum and minimum temperatures would settle around 37 degree Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively. On Saturday, the minimum temperature recorded was 27.8 degrees Celsius, while maximum settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius.
