A MeT official said that the temperature recorded at 2:30 pm was 26 degrees Celsius, while the humidity reached 95 per cent.
The forecast for maximum temperature tomorrow is 34 degrees Celsius. ‘Cloudy skies with rains and thundershowers in Delhi and parts of the national capital region is also expected tomorrow,” the weatherman said.
Waterlogging was also reported from most sectors of Noida as residents claimed overflow of drains and sewer lines. Danish Ahmed, a resident of Sector 20, said that some drains in the sector are clogged and even rain for an hour floods the sector with polluted drain water. ‘This creates a lot of trouble for the residents and specially children who sometimes fall in the water,’ Ahmed said.
