Masaba to open WLIFW

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) on Wednesday announced the show schedule for the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week A/W 2013. The fashion body also released a list of participating designers.
This time, a total of 128 designers will be taking part and 32 shows will take place over five days. The designers are a mix between established and upcoming names from across the country.
‘The interesting mix of innovation, creativity and tradition will usher in the best at the WIFW Autumn-Winter showing this season,’ said FDCI president Sunil Sethi.
Masaba Gupta will be doing the opening show for Satya Paul. Some other designers include Anupama Dayal, Namrata Joshipura, Samant Chauhan, Anju Modi, Kavita Bhartia, Abraham &Thakore, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Manish Malhotra among others.
Millennium Post fashion columnist Chandrani Siingh Fllora is showcasing on the last day. FDCI is yet to announce the name of the designer who will showcase his/her collection at the grand finale show and according to sources, the announcement is expected on Thursday.
