'Marriage will happen at right time'

Katrina Kaif came, sizzled as she walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra on the fourth day of PCJ Delhi Couture Week and won a million hearts with her sultry sexy appeal. The showstopper wore a dull gold heavily sequinned lehenga with Kashmiri work done on the hemline.
Will Manish be designing her wedding trousseau? ‘We will see when the time comes. We don’t know where we will be then. Manish might be showing in New York at that time,’ she replied, tersely.
And when will it be time for her? ‘Marriage is a very personal occasion. It will happen at the right time,’ she said. ‘It becomes uncomfortable when you are constantly asked about it,’ added an irked Katrina.
With other actors like Aamir Khan asking Salman to get married, has Katrina been advising her ex-beau the same? ‘No I haven’t. Whatever makes him happy,’ said the 28-year-old actor.
Katrina said her favourite colour for bridalwear changes with time. ‘At one point of time, I was very fond of green,’ she said. The lehenga she was wearing on the show was ‘heavy’. ‘It weighs about 10 kilos or something,’ she said, adding that she loves Indianwear. ‘I love Indian clothes for their elegance,’ said the actor.
How did it feel to be back at the ramp? ‘Earlier it used to be living out of a suitcase. You came, wore whatever you had to wear and zipped to the next location. Now it is far more relaxed,’ she said, reminiscing her days as a model.
Earlier in the day, she visited the shrine of the famous Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chisti in Fatehpur Sikri ahead of the release of her film Ek Tha Tiger where she is paired opposite Salman Khan. She was at the shrine for half an hour, and left after ‘Chadarposhi’.
