Manipuri girl molested by minor in SE Delhi

According to the police, the incident took place on Monday morning when the victim was going to attend her classes in South Extension area. She is said to be pursuing a beautician course from VLCC. At the time of the incident, the minor, who is her neighbour and resides in the same colony, stopped the way mid-way. 

The victim told police that when she reached near Delhi Jal Board building, the boy passed objectionable comments and then when she opposed the act, he allegedly molested her. In her complaint, she wrote that the accused held her hand and tried to get intimate with her on the street.

Surprisingly, the incident occurred during broad daylight and none of the passers-by came to her rescue. She managed to nab the boy who is a student of class XII in a government school in Sunlight Colony. 

Further, she made a call to the police control room and narrated the ordeal. She, then handed him 

over to the police who booked him under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code.

In addition to the incident, she told the police that the boy was following her for the past few days but she did not take the matter seriously and have not reported the matter. 

The accused was later produced in juvenile court and has been sent to the Juvenile home. ‘His parents have been informed about the incident who felt ashamed of the act,’ the official added.
