Man stabs friend to death in gambling dispute
A 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death in a dispute over gambling at South-east Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area, police said on Sunday. Police said the victim, Gulshan, was an autorickshaw driver.
The incident was reported around 10.15 pm on Saturday when Gulshan and his friend Jagdish, also an autorickshaw driver, were returning to Madangir after a gambling session at Sangam Vihar, police said.
The two had an argument over Rs 1,800 which Jagdish owed to Gulshan. Jagdish pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed Gulshan multiple times and fled.
