Man stabbed to death for attempting to resolve scuffle

With increasing number of road rage incidents in the city, yet another came to light on Thursday when a 26-year-old was stabbed to death multiple times by two unidentified youths in South East Delhiā€™s Amar Colony in the evening. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Saddam. On Thursday around <g data-gr-id="23">5pm</g>, Saddam saw two people fighting and attempted to resolve the issue.Ā 

One of the accused got furious and took out a knife and allegedly stabbed Saddam multiple times. The incident took place near a police barricade. A passerby made a PCR call and the police reached on the spot. He was admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center where he was declared dead on arrival. A case has been registered at the Amar Colony police station under appropriate sections of the law.

According to senior police officials, the police have started <g data-gr-id="19">investigation</g> to apprehend the two accused. The police have detained one but are not willing to disclose his <g data-gr-id="18">identify</g> as this will create problems in arresting the other. The victim, unmarried, was survived by his father who is a rickshaw puller and his elder brother, a tailor. Search operations are on to nab the other accused.Ā
