Man shot at by 4 unknown persons in Ghaziabad

A middle-aged man was shot at by four unidentified persons near Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) office here Monday morning, police said. The incident occurred when Narrandra Tomar (40), secretary of Awasiya Sahakari Samiti of Ghaziabad, was going to his office around 10.45 am in Nav Yug Market of the district when four unidentified persons in a car intercepted him and opened fire, they said. Around five rounds of ammunition were fired out of which one hit Tomar on his neck. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition is stated to be critical, police added.
