Man loses life while resisting robbery bid

A 24-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at a government hospital after being severely beaten while trying a resist a robbery bid in the Samaypur Badli area of outer Delhi.
The victim was identified as Ashif who worked as a truck driver. According to police, the incident took place on Monday. The robbers fled with Rs.2,000 and a mobile after severely beating Ashif. He was succumbed to injuries at a government hospital at the area.
According to police, the victim worked worked with Golden Transport Company. Ashif lived with his family at 24 mothers colony Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh.
On 10 June, he along with his helper, Sharukh came from Panipat with some loaded goods at Sirsapur. Ashif, parked his truck and went to the washroom. As Ashif started moving towards the truck the robbers attacked him.
