Man kills wife after argument, six-yr-old narrates incident to relatives

A man was arrested on Thursday after her daughter revealed that her father had killed her mother during a fight at their residence in Govindpuri area.
On Wednesday, Jahanvi (6) told her relatives that a day before her father had brutally beaten up her mother and later brought her to the hospital.
After knowing this, Jahanvi’s relative made a call to the police control room who recorded the statement of the six-year-old girl.
She told police that on Tuesday night, her mother Lilu (35) wished to sleep outside the house as she was not feeling well. Her decision to sleep outside annoyed Bunty, the accused and he started beating her. He then attacked her with a brick lying outside the house and then hit her with a table fan. She fell unconscious on the ground in a pool of blood.
Meanwhile, Bunty made a call to his in-laws and informed them that their daughter is unwell so he is taking her to the hospital.
On Wednesday morning when Lilu’s parents arrived at the hospital, they remained unaware about the attack. In the afternoon, when doctors declared her dead, couple’s elder daughter broke out and narrated the incident to their relatives.
