Man ‘kills’ live-in partner, her kid

After a minor scuffle a 25-year-old man killed his live-in-partner and a four-year-old child at their residence in north Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla area, police said on Sunday morning. The accused is still absconding.

The accused has been identified as Salman who was living with Ruksana along with her son Feeroz on a rented accommodation in Jakiara area behind Daya Basti Railway platform.

The incident took place on Saturday night when the couple had a minor scuffle over something. Salman allegedly strangled his live-in-partner and the child. He fled from the spot with cash an d jewellery. He locked the door from outside and the next morning when one of the neighbour knocked the door, on suspicion he made a call to the PCR. 

Salman hails from Uttar Pradesh while Ruksana hailed from Bihar’s Madhubani area. Both were staying together in Delhi for 9 months. Salman worked in a factory near Sarai Rohilla.
