Man kills colleague; commits suicide

A 57-year-old jute mill worker, on <g data-gr-id="15">Monday</g> killed one of his colleagues and the committed suicide near the Gardenrich area.

According to the police, on Monday evening, Ramsamuj Singh, a security guard at the Kesharam jute mill had an argument with a labourer Ravindrakumar Singh(58) which resulted in Ramsamuj hitting the latter with an iron rod, killing him. 

Ramsamuj then went inside an adjoining office and with that same iron rod injured two other co-workers named <g data-gr-id="20">Sravan</g> Chaubey and ML Sahoo. They had to be admitted to the PG hospital. He then committed suicide by jumping off the roof of the <g data-gr-id="21">five storey</g> office building. A suicide note has also been recovered.

The Municipal Councillor, ward number 137, Rahmat Alam Ansari reached the site after the incident. He said that the incident happened due to problems between the labourers.
