Man held for trespassing at air force station in Gurgaon

A young man hailing from Uttar Pradesh was arrested on Wednesday on the charge of trespassing into the Gurgaon Air Force station situated on the Delhi road. Police identified the accused as Vishram, 24, hailing from Gonda district.

“The accused works as a cook at a paying guest accommodation near Sector 41 here and was under the influence of alcohol. He entered the air force station by mistake around 4.40 am,” police officer Sanjeev Kumar said.

“On entering the station, he was challenged by the guards but he hid himself in a barrack close to the ammunition depot,” he said. Later, Vishram was overpowered by the airmen, questioned for over six hours and then handed over to police.

A case was registered against him at the Palam Vihar police station on the complaint of security officer Squadron Leader Jasbir Singh under Section 448 (trespass) of the Indian Penal Code.
He was later produced in a district court, which granted him bail.
