Man arrested for abducting nephew

A man was arrested by the Delhi police for kidnapping his own nephew for ransom.
On Thursday a PCR call was received in Mianwali police station regarding the kidnapping of a seven-year-old boy by his uncle Monu. The complainant further told the police that they have received a ransom call for Rs 25,000.
A Delhi police team left for Agra as per the kidnapper's demand that the ransom be delivered in Agra.
Monu was apprehended at ISBT, Agra, and the child was safely rescued from his clutches.
During interrogation he revealed that he used to run a biryani shop in Meera Bagh, but it was not doing well and incurred loses. Hence, he closed the shop and started gambling and drinking. He took loans to sustain himself. wIn order to return the dues, he hatched the plan to make quick money from his own family members by kidnapping the only son of his elder brother.
