Mamata’s PS dies of heart attack

Ashok Subramaniam, 54, Private Secretary (PS) to Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, died of heart attack in the city on Tuesday.
He suffered a heart attack in the morning and was rushed to the Bellevue Hospital. A pall of gloom descended at the state secretariat after Subramaniam’s sudden demise. Subramaniam was known as one of the efficient officers in Banerjee’s team. The Chief Minister has expressed her grief at her aide’s untimely demise in a Facebook post.
