Mamata to go to Vatican for Mother’s canonisation

Mamata Banerjee is all set to visit Vatican City on September 4 when sainthood will be conferred to Mother Teresa. Sister Prema, head of the Missionaries’ of Charity along with other nuns met Banerjee at her Kalighat residence and requested her to be present at the occasion. It was learnt that she has agreed to be there. Banerjee had a very cordial relationship with Mother Teresa and had visited Mother’s House several times. Mother Teresa also loved the young leader and had blessed her. Banerjee continues to enjoy the blessings of the nuns of the Order.
