A week after Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenager shot in the head by the Taliban for campaigning for girls’ education, was flown to UK for specialised treatment, she continues to make steady progress and is in a stable condition, her doctors said on Monday. ‘She’s under the care of a specialist team from Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Children’s hospitals. More than 4,000 messages of support have been posted on the Trust’s web site,’ the spokesperson of Queen Elizabeth Hospital said.
