Major reshuffle in AAP

Seen as a sort of corrective measure, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to fast-track its organisational reshuffle. Mired with one controversy after another and still trying to cope up with the ouster of rebel leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, the party has decided to concentrate on building up its organisation.
This comes after the party’s highest decision-making body PAC’s meeting on Sunday.
The party has appointed senior leader Sanjay Singh as in-charge of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and UP, while Kumar Vishwas has been appointed the in-charge of NRI, funding and campaigning. Ashutosh will be the in-charge of coordination and national convenor’s secretariat, while Pankaj Gupta will be the in-charge of administration-Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. Ashish Talwar will be the in-charge of frontal organizations and cells, Meera Sanyal will be the in-charge of policy research and analysis, whereas Habung Payeng will be the in-charge of Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh. Dilip Pandey, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Raghav Chadha have been appointed the convener, secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the Delhi unit.
The PAC also appointed 12 sub in-charge with independent charge. These include HS Phoolka — legal, Dilip Pandey — communications, Deepak Bajpai — coordination/ media, Durgesh Pathak — organisation building, Kiran Vissa — Odisha, West Bengal; Somnath Bharti — Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshwadeep, Puducherry; Sanjeev Jha — Bihar and Jharkhand, Nitin Tyagi – Rajasthan; Vivek Yadav — Uttarakhand; Vijay Nair — Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Naresh Balyan – Haryana; Somdutt — Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
The party has named 15 sub in-charges who will assist the newly appointed in-charges. Sanjay Kansal, Ajay Dutt , Shakeel Malik, Sanjay Singh, Amantullah, Sanjay Singh, Prakash Jarwal, Naresh Yadav, Preeti Sharma Menon, Adarsh Shastri, Alka Lamba, Dr Munish Raizada, Richa Pandey Mishra, Harsh Kalra, Khem Chand Jagirdar, Abhas Chandela and Vandana Singh.
