Maid murder: No headway yet as police wait for autopsy reports

A three-member medical board was constituted to conduct the postmortem examination of the 17-year-old maid, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at an apartment in outer Delhi’s Mongolpuri on December 3.
Police is also questioning the employers of the deceased. “We have not come to any conclusion. We are still waiting for autopsy report”, a police officer said.
After violent protest by the locals, the police have also provided security cover to the employer Atul Verma, who is a scientist by profession. Meanwhile, Verma maintained the girl had allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze in the bathroom of his house. The kin of girl alleged she was killed by the employer.
