Mad over mangoes?

Its aroma, color and the juicy pulp all conjure up memories of some well spent summers. Come this weekend a deluge of mangoes hits the market, playing magic on our senses. 

Keeping in mind the significance of the king of fruits, Delhi Tourism on behalf of government of Delhi has organized a mango festival from 28 to 20 June. Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dixit will be inaugurating the 25th Mango Festival on the first day of the event.

The eagerly awaited event of the year will throw open a volley of surprises for mango lovers in this festival. The highlights include mango eating competitions, quiz, slogan writing competition, a performance by Stereo Budhha and loads more exciting stuff for the mango people! The event will remain open for the public from 11:00 AM to 9:00 pm. Head over and dig in.
