Love on the rocks

The pristine surroundings of the Lodi gardens came alive to the sound of music as Rohan Solomon; leading Vocalist and Front man of the Popular Alt Rock Band Cyanide mesmerized Delhi people with a live performance at the launch of his second Solo Studio Album Moving On. The Album comprises of 8 heart-rending songs penned by Rohan Solomon. Rohan has been the Vocalist and Front man of the Popular Alt Rock Band Cyanide for over 10 years. He has toured the country extensively and has developed a decent fan base over the years. 

Having played in prestigious music festivals like Great Indian Rock Festival, Eastwind Festival, RSJ Pubrock Fest, RSJ Octoberfest, Gig Week, NH7 Weekender, Rohan has played in almost all the colleges and schools in Delhi and a lot of colleges in other cities as well. His band Cyanide was featured in the reality TV show Channel V Launchpad in 2007. 

The album Moving On has been produced in Nashville, Tennessee, by the well-known music producer and studio musician, Scott Moffat. It has been inspired by Rohan’s personal life and is a compilation of songs on his experiences in different relationships. One of the songs called Brick Wall is collaboration between Rohan and Scott.

“It’s a great feeling to be performing when surrounded by my family and close friends. I want to thank all for making this album a success. The songs have a touch of the country and talk about love, loss, illusion of love and relationships on the rocks, so every person that listens to it can relate to it,” said Rohan Solomon at the launch. 

Rohan launched his first solo album Lead The Way in 2009. The album was inspired by the plight of slum kids in India and was an effort to raise funds to provide help provide them a decent education. The songs were very popular and played in about 1200 stations in more than 30 states across USA. 
In 2010, Cyanide launched their album Sugarcoated which was a major success.  Their two singles out on the radio Money and Find you are still played on the radio even after 5 years.
